Junkers Euromaxx Air Pressure Switch ZWC24-1MFA23 - Huba Control 605.99549
Air pressure switch manufactured by Huba Control (code 605.99549), installed in Junkers Euromaxx boilers ZWC24, ZWC24-1MF2A23, ZWC24-1MFA23, ZWC24-1MFA31, and ZWC28-1MFA. The reference printed on the label (8-716-771-175) matches the catalog reference 87167711750. It monitors the differential combustion air pressure (40/30 Pa) and interrupts ignition if the draft is not correct.

How to check if ref. 87167711750 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 87167711750. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the pressure switch 87167711750 resolves.
The pressure switch controls the air or water pressure to authorize operation. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler tries to ignite, the fan starts but the burner does not light and it locks out.
Cause: The pressure switch does not detect the necessary air pressure drop, and the control board does not allow the gas to flow.
Make sure the fan is spinning freely and at a good speed before checking the pressure switch.
- 02
The boiler shuts down by itself a few seconds after starting, as if it loses draft.
Cause: A partial obstruction in the flue duct causes the pressure switch to lose the pressure signal during the cycle.
Check the flue pipe and the external terminal for any obstructions (nests, leaves, excessive wind).
- 03
The boiler needs to be reset several times in a row for it to start.
Cause: The pressure switch oscillates between opening and closing the contact because the pressure signal reaches just at the set limit.
Check that the silicone tubes going to the pressure switch are not bent, cracked, or have condensed water inside.
- 04
The fan can be heard running, but the boiler never goes into the ignition phase.
Cause: Without the pressure switch contact closure, the control board does not authorize the opening of the gas valve for safety reasons.
With the extractor running, use a multimeter to check if the pressure switch closes the contact; if it doesn't close even at the maximum extractor setting, the fault may be earlier, in the flue itself.
Fault codes from Junkers that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| C1 | The pressure switch has activated during operation. | The differential pressure switch opens during operation due to a fatigued diaphragm or intermittent microcontact, causing the signal to be lost to the Heatronic. Check the continuity of the pressure switch while the fan is running and measure the depression/differential with a manometer on the sampling tubes. |
| C4 | The pressure switch does not open in the rest position. | The pressure switch remains stuck/closed at rest due to mechanical failure or residual pressure in the connections. With the fan stopped, verify that the contact is open and that there is no water column/obstructions in the tubes; check with a multimeter and manometer. |
| C6 | The pressure switch does not close. | The pressure switch does not switch to closed when the fan starts due to internal misalignment or a damaged diaphragm, preventing combustion authorization. Verify that when the fan starts, the contact closes (continuity test) and that the achieved depression exceeds the pressure switch threshold (measurement at ports). |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
