How to check if ref. 125995117 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 125995117. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the safety valve 125995117 resolves.
The safety valve releases pressure when the circuit exceeds its setting. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
Water is dripping from underneath the boiler, next to the discharge pipe of the gas valve.
Cause: The valve gasket does not seal properly and does not close completely when the boiler is at rest.
Dry the area well and observe for 15 minutes with the boiler cold: if the dripping continues without the pressure rising, it is necessary to check the gas valve.
- 02
The valve is leaking a little water just when the boiler is heating up.
Cause: The valve activates before the expected 3 bar because the internal spring is worn out.
Note the pressure on the manometer at the moment it is activated and compare it with the usual filling pressure of the circuit before deciding to change it.
- 03
The pressure keeps rising on the manometer and the valve does not activate.
Cause: The internal mechanism is stuck, usually due to limescale buildup after a long period of inactivity.
Try to operate the manual bleed lever, if it has one, to force the opening before replacing the part.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
