Aerothermal maintenance in Madrid
The maintenance of air-to-water heat pump systems must identify the heat pump and its hydraulic and control elements. A boiler or air conditioning contract does not automatically apply to an air-to-water installation.

Scope of service
Scope: air-to-water heat pump systems and their associated elements, depending on configuration. The supply temperature, demand, and regulation influence operation. Power and savings cannot be assigned without knowing the building and the installation.
Define the included system
List the units, storage tanks, heat emitters, controls and auxiliary components. The proposal must state which components are included and excluded, particularly where several heat generators or shared building systems are present.
Review according to configuration.
Operations must adapt to the manufacturer, usage, and accessibility. The condition of the system, circulation, filtration, alerts, and operation of the contracted modes are assessed. It is not assumed that each visit includes interventions on the refrigeration circuit.
Record of anomalies
It is advisable to keep notices and explain when they occur. Detected anomalies are distinguished from their repair: parts, replacements, and corrective work require scope and authorization. Modifying parameters without knowing the installation may conceal the problem instead of resolving it.
Specific budget

Does buying a boiler in the store include installation?
No. Buying the boiler and having it installed are separate services. The product page shows the model's price and what is supplied. Installation requires assessment of the location, connections, flue and any necessary adaptations. Ask for the two costs separately before deciding.
What photos help prepare the inquiry?
An overview of the equipment, its model label, and the warning displayed on the screen. In a replacement, the connections and the space around it are also helpful, always from a safe position. Do not remove casings or protections to take photos; avoid including unnecessary personal data.
What information do you need to assess air-to-water heat pump systems with my radiators?
Information about the home, insulation, usage, radiators, and usual temperatures, as well as the hot water needs. Compatibility depends on the demand and what the emitters can deliver at the expected temperatures. It cannot be confirmed by just a photo of the radiator or only by the surface area.
Can savings be calculated from a technical data sheet?
The technical sheet helps compare equipment under the declared conditions, but it does not determine your bill. To estimate it, demand, operating temperatures, regulation, climate, usage, and rates are needed. Request that any comparison indicates its assumptions; a fixed percentage is not offered without that data.
Does the presence of ice on the outdoor unit confirm a malfunction?

Does a new heat pump allow cooling for any installation?
Not automatically. The equipment, emitters, control, and design of the installation must take it into account, with the appropriate precautions. Request that the project specifies heating, cooling, and domestic hot water separately; not all configurations offer the same functions.
What should a maintenance plan for air-to-water heat pump systems identify?
