How to check if ref. BI1351100 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference BI1351100. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the BI1351100 three-way valve resolves.
The 3-way valve diverts water between heating and domestic hot water. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler heats the heating system well but does not provide domestic hot water, or vice versa.
Cause: The motor does not move the valve to the DHW position and remains fixed in a single circuit.
With the boiler unplugged, manually check if the valve shaft turns freely; if it is stuck, the problem may be with the valve and not with the motor.
- 02
The motor makes a continuous buzzing sound but does not fully rotate.
Cause: It is typical of a damaged winding or a worn internal gear that slips.
Check if the motor is receiving power and still does not move; if it is not receiving power, first check the wiring or the PCB.
- 03
The boiler never switches from heating to domestic hot water.
Cause: Without the operating motor, the valve remains stuck in the last position it worked in.
First, rule out that the PCB is not sending the switching command by comparing it with another type of fault.
- 04
Notes water leak in the area of the gas valve.
Cause: This spare part is only the actuator motor, not the hydraulic body of the valve.
If the problem is a leak, check the gaskets and body of the gas valve: this motor will not fix it.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
