  Observe the complete path of the motor when switching: if it always stops at the same point, it is a mechanical stop or a broken gear, not an electrical problem.

  There is heat noticeable in the heating pipe and nothing in the domestic hot water pipe, or vice versa, even though the burner ignites properly.

  Cause: The motor has not diverted the water flow and the active circuit remains the same as before.

  Request domestic hot water several times in a row and check if the fault repeats consistently: if it sometimes switches, it could be a micro switch causing false contacts.

  The motor buzzes when trying to change mode but does not move.

  Cause: It is a typical symptom of a locked motor, with the winding under voltage but the gear unable to turn.

  Listen to see if the buzzing stops on its own or persists for several seconds: a buzzing that does not cease usually confirms that the motor is stuck and it is not a wiring issue.

  The boiler shows a warning or locks up just when trying to switch from heating to domestic hot water.

  Cause: If the motor does not indicate that it has reached its position, the PCB understands that there is a fault and interrupts the cycle for safety.
