3-Way Valve Motor Fagor FE-24NOX Ref. AS0012843
The 3-way valve of the Fagor FE-24NOX switches the water between the heating circuit and the domestic hot water circuit. If it fails, you will notice that there is hot water but no heating, or vice versa, and there may even be a mixing of both circuits. This motor is installed in Fagor FE NOX boilers, such as the FE 24 NOX and FEE 24 NOX models, as well as in the Fagor FE TC range, including the FE 24 TC and FEE 24 TC models. It is replaced when it has problems with water switching.

How to check if ref. AS0012843 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference AS0012843. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the 3-way valve AS0012843 resolves.
The 3-way valve diverts water between heating and domestic hot water. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler shows a fault with the three-way valve and does not start.
Cause: The limit microswitch of the motor does not close the contact because the motor does not rotate completely.
Before changing the motor, check that the connector to the PCB is properly fitted and without bent pins.
- 02
The heating works, but when requesting hot water, the boiler takes longer to respond.
Cause: The motor moves slowly towards the hot water side because the gear is worn out or losing power.
Time how long it takes for the hot water to come out; an increasing delay indicates a problem with the motor.
- 03
The motor gets stuck halfway between heating and domestic hot water, and the boiler locks out.
Cause: The shaft does not complete the travel and neither of the limit switches is activated, so the control unit does not recognize a valid mode.
With the boiler turned off, manually move the stem of the gas valve; if it is difficult to move or does not reach the stop, the problem may be with the valve.
- 04
A dry click is heard just before the boiler fails.
Cause: It is the sound of the limit microswitch trying to close but failing due to insufficient motor travel.
If the clicking occurs several times when starting, it is more likely to be the motor and not a specific electrical fault.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
