3-Way Valve Motor Exclusive Mix CSI/Meteo Mix CSI Ref. R2905
The motor of the 3-way valve Exclusive Mix CSI/Meteo Mix CSI is responsible for directing water between the heating circuit and the domestic hot water circuit. When this part fails, you may notice that you have hot water but no heating, or vice versa, and it may even happen that both circuits mix. This motor is compatible with models from the Super Exclusive range (such as Super Exclusive Ecomix 24 CSI and 28 CSI), Mynute, and Meteo. It is advisable to replace it when you experience these symptoms to restore the functionality of your boiler.

How to check if ref. R2905 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference R2905. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the R2905 three-way valve resolves.
The 3-way valve diverts water between heating and domestic hot water. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not heat the radiators when a hot water tap is opened and does not heat again afterwards.
Cause: The motor does not return to the heating position after meeting the demand for domestic hot water.
Close all the taps and wait a couple of minutes; if the heating does not return on its own, the fault is in the motor return.
- 02
A continuous buzzing sound is heard from the gas valve without changing position.
Cause: The motor receives power, but the internal gear is slipping or broken and does not transmit the rotation to the shaft.
If the buzzing lasts more than a few seconds, turn off the boiler to avoid straining the motor and check the condition of the gears.
- 03
The display shows a fault related to the 3-way valve or the mode change.
Cause: The control board does not detect that the motor has reached the expected position and displays a safety fault code.
Note the exact code before changing the part; some faults of this type may be due to loose wiring and not to the motor.
- 04
The boiler normally switches modes, but sometimes it gets stuck halfway and needs to be reset.
Cause: The motor intermittently loses its travel, typical of a worn gear that fails depending on the stopping point.
Keep track of how many times a day it gets blocked; if the frequency increases, the wear progresses and it is not a one-time fault.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
