How to check if ref. 05133500 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 05133500. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the 3-way valve 05133500 resolves.
The 3-way valve diverts water between heating and domestic hot water. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler provides domestic hot water but does not heat the radiators, or just the opposite.
Cause: The motor does not take the three-way valve to the end of the circuit it touches, and the water is distributed poorly between both.
With the boiler off, manually check if the valve shaft rotates freely before replacing the motor.
- 02
The boiler does not switch from one circuit to another when it should.
Cause: The motor does not receive or execute the switching command from the control board.
Force a mode change between domestic hot water and heating and observe if the motor tries to move even with effort.
- 03
A buzzing or straining noise can be heard from the gas valve motor.
Cause: The internal gear of the motor is slipping or worn out and is unable to move the gas valve.
Check if the buzzing stops on its own or remains constant; a motor that buzzes continuously rarely recovers by itself.
- 04
The valve remains stuck in an intermediate position.
Cause: The motor stops halfway through the stroke due to a fault in the gear or the internal limit switch.
Check for any limescale or dirt mechanically blocking the valve body before replacing the motor.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
