When requesting hot water, the radiators do not heat up and only do so after resetting the boiler.
Cause: The shutter gets stuck in the hot water position and does not return to the heating circuit.
With the boiler cold, manually move the shaft of the gas valve motor and check if it is stuck.

The valve motor makes noise but does not complete the rotation, and sometimes it stops halfway.
Cause: The internal gear is worn out, which is normal after several years of use or due to a prolonged shutdown in summer.
Listen to the motor when requesting hot water: if it always stops in the same place, the problem is mechanical.

You notice that it takes much longer than usual for hot water to come out when you turn on the tap.
Cause: The valve switching is slow due to wear on the motor or the shaft.
Compare the waiting time with another faucet in the house to rule out that it is an installation problem and not a valve issue.

Cause: The micro switch does not confirm the position of the gas valve to the control board, which causes a safety lockout.
