Honeywell Control PCB Ferroli Econcept Tech Ref. 39821523
Control module manufactured by Honeywell (PCB code DBM04C, adhesive code S4962V2001, software revision R268G), identified by the side logo on the label. It incorporates power relays marked 'FT' (F3AA024E and F3AA010E). It is the control board for Ferroli boilers from the Econcept and Optimax HE range; it is replaced when the electronic control of the boiler fails.

How to check if ref. 39821523 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 39821523. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the PCB 39821523 resolves.
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The pump, gas valve, or ignition does not start, but the rest of the boiler works well.
Cause: The power relay on the PCB does not close the contact and is not receiving current.
Before changing the PCB, measure if there is power at the output of the corresponding relay when the boiler needs that component.
- 02
The boiler does not ignite and locks out when trying to start, without giving any more time.
Cause: The PCB does not complete the startup sequence because its control stage has failed.
Check that the fuse on the PCB is in good condition and that 230V is reaching it before considering it faulty.
- 03
The remote control or the panel are not responding, although the boiler seems to be receiving power.
Cause: The PCB manages communication with the control unit, and if its control stage fails, the connection is lost.
Disconnect and reconnect the bus connector of the control: a poor connection can produce the same symptom without the PCB being damaged.
- 04
The boiler works for a while and then locks out without a clear pattern.
Cause: An intermittent fault in the PCB causes it to lose control of the ignition sequence or modulation.
Note when it gets blocked (when requesting domestic hot water, heating, or when starting the burner) to rule out that it is another component before changing the PCB.
Fault codes for Ferroli that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| A23 | Anomaly in the control board parameters (misconfigured/corrupt PCB parameter). | The PCB itself loses or corrupts its internal factory parameters, so the PCB is the documented cause; it is verified by re-entering/checking the board parameter and, if it reappears after reconfiguring, the PCB is replaced. |
| A24 | Anomaly in the control board parameters (misconfigured/corrupt PCB parameter). | Same family as A23: the main PCB does not validate its own internal parameters; the board parameter is checked/reconfigured and, if it persists, the PCB is the part to be replaced. |
| A26 | Anomaly in the control board parameters (misconfigured/corrupt PCB parameter). | Indicate incorrect internal configuration/parameter of the PCB; the PCB is the component involved. The board parameter is checked, and if it is not resolved by reconfiguring, the PCB is replaced. |
| A61 | ABM03 controller fault (internal error of the control unit/main PCB). | It is an internal error of the control electronics itself (ABM03 PCB), not of an external sensor; the grounding is checked, and if it reappears, the documented solution is to replace the PCB/controller. |
| A63 | ABM03 controller fault (internal error of the control unit/main PCB). | Internal error of the electronic controller (same family as A61); the documented cause is the PCB itself. Check grounding and replace the PCB if it persists. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
