Stock · 1 unit

The Junkers ZWE24-2KDG PCB is installed in the Eurostar range boilers. This part is responsible for controlling the ignition, burner modulation, pump, and safety features of the boiler. When the PCB fails, the boiler may not start, may lock out, or may behave erratically, and the fault code E9: STB activated may appear. It is compatible with models such as ZE 24-2 KDP, ZWE 24-2 KDP, ZWE 24-2 KDG, and ZWE 24-2 KP, among others. It should be replaced when it shows faults or malfunctions.

Guide

How to check if the ref. 8748300213 is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 8748300213. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the PCB 8748300213 resolves.

The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The boiler does not start and no lights are lit on the control panel.

Cause: If the PCB does not distribute the power, no auxiliary component (fan, gas valve, ignition) is activated.

Check that 230V is reaching the input of the PCB and that the network wiring is not loose or burnt before replacing it.

  • 02

The fuse of the PCB blows as soon as power is supplied to the boiler.

Cause: A short circuit in any component powered by the PCB (pump, fan, gas valve) blows the protection fuse every time it is replaced.

Before installing a new fuse, disconnect the pump and fan one by one to see if either causes the short circuit, instead of assuming the PCB is broken.

  • 03

The boiler loses power in the auxiliary components even though the display remains on.

Cause: The low voltage circuit that powers the valve, pump, or ignition module may fail within the PCB without turning off the main display.

Check with the multimeter if there is voltage at the auxiliary output of the PCB before replacing it.

  • 04

The boiler starts up well for a few days and then stops supplying power for no apparent reason.

Cause: An intermittent fault on the PCB (solder joint, degraded component) causes irregular power cuts.

Note when it fails (cold, prolonged use) and check connections and terminals before replacing the PCB.

CodeFaultDiagnosis and solution
E9STB activatedWhen you see "E9" on the display, it means that the STB has been activated. This can occur if the PCB is not functioning properly and cannot adequately control the components of the boiler. Check the PCB and the elements it controls.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
