PCB FE-24 AE 1N / FE-24 EMA / FE-24E / Super Compact FE 24 E
The PCB FE-24 AE 1N / FE-24 EMA / FE-24E / Super Compact FE 24 E is the control element that manages the ignition, burner modulation, pump, and safety features of the boiler. If it malfunctions, the boiler may fail to start, lock out, or operate erratically, displaying the fault code F5: Control board fault. This board is compatible with models from the Fagor Super Compact FE 24 E range, such as the FE 24 E and the FE 24 AE-1N, among others. It should be replaced when these operational issues are detected.

How to check if the part number FA020155 is the one for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference FA020155. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the FA020155 PCB solves.
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler shows no signs, neither display nor attempt to ignite, as if it is not receiving power.
Cause: The PCB distributes power to the rest of the equipment, and a fault in its input stage leaves everything else without power.
Check the fuse on the PCB and use a multimeter to verify that there is voltage at the input connector before replacing it.
- 02
The water comes out at a very irregular temperature, sometimes boiling and other times almost cold.
Cause: The PCB modulates the flame according to demand, and if that function degrades, the boiler loses fine regulation.
Check that the heat exchanger is free of scale and that the temperature sensor is clean and properly connected.
- 03
The boiler attempts to ignite, the fan can be heard, but the flame does not light.
Cause: The PCB manages the ignition sequence, and if its triggering electronics fail, it does not send a signal to the gas valve at the correct moment.
Check the ignition electrode and its high voltage cable, as they exhibit identical symptoms.
- 04
You request heat, but neither the pump nor the fan starts.
Cause: The start command for these components is generated by the PCB, and a damaged output renders it ineffective even if the rest are functioning.
Manually check that the pump spins freely before replacing the PCB, especially if it has been idle for months.
Fault codes for Fagor that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| F5 | Control board fault | The main PCB is faulty (internal hardware/software failure), causing the boiler to lock out. Check power supply and connectors; if the issue persists, confirm by replacing or testing the PCB FA020155. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
