  Cause: The pressure switch does not detect the correct depression in the flue duct and does not allow ignition.

  Check that the flue is not blocked by leaves, snow, a nest, or any object before replacing the pressure switch.

  The ignitions are intermittent: sometimes it ignites and other times the burner turns off halfway through the cycle.

  Cause: The pressure switch intermittently loses the closed contact, possibly due to a real fluctuation in the draft or an internal fault of the component.

  Check if the problem worsens with strong winds or gusts, which would indicate an issue with the flue and not with the pressure switch.

  The burner turns off by itself during operation, not just when starting.

  Cause: The pressure switch continues to monitor the pressure while the boiler is operating and shuts down if it detects a sudden drop in draft.

  Check the general condition of the flue gas duct, elbows, and horizontal sections, in case there is a restriction that is not the fault of the pressure switch.

  The boiler takes several attempts to ignite, as if it struggles to capture the correct air signal.

  Cause: The pressure switch switches slowly or unstably at the beginning of the cycle, delaying the pressure validation that the PCB expects.

  Check that the pressure switch connection tubes are not perforated or that the clamps are not loose, which is common over time.
