Cause: A pressure switch that does not return to its resting position between cycles can cause a false start fault.
Check that the silicone tube is not punctured or disconnected from the fitting in the area of the extractor.

The boiler works well for a while and then starts to fail more often until it completely stops igniting.
Cause: The progressive wear of the pressure switch makes it harder to reach the switching point.
Keep track of when it starts to fail and how often: if it worsens over time, focus more on the pressure switch than on a loose tube.

The extractor has been cleaned and it still won't start, or it starts and stops just like before.
Cause: If after cleaning the extractor the fault persists, it is common for the pressure switch itself not to be switching.
Before changing it, ask a technician to measure the actual depression of the extractor with a manometer to confirm that the pressure switch does not reach its cut-off point.
