How to check if ref. FS6000 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference FS6000. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the FS6000 pressure switch resolves.
The pressure switch controls the air or water pressure to authorize operation. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The Luna boiler locks up as soon as it starts, before the burner ignites.
Cause: The pressure switch does not close the circuit that authorizes the gas because it does not detect the working pressure of the extractor.
Check that the extractor starts with power and without friction noise before inspecting the pressure switch.
- 02
The display shows a pressure switch fault code that repeats several times a day.
Cause: A pressure switch with an aged diaphragm loses sensitivity and takes longer to switch, which the control board interprets as a fault.
Check that the connection tubes to the pressure switch do not have accumulated condensate, especially if the boiler is a condensing type.
- 03
The boiler turns on at some point without you having touched anything, in a strange way.
Cause: If the pressure switch contact gets stuck closed, the control board may receive a pressure signal even if the fan is not operating; it is a safety fault, not just a comfort issue.
Do not force repeated manual starts if you suspect a stuck contact: cut the power to the boiler and have a technician check it before continuing to test.
- 04
The pressure switch fault occurs more often on windy days or when the flue gas outlet terminal is dirty.
Cause: The pressure switch depends on the actual pressure difference generated by the extractor; if something interferes with the outlet to the outside, it will indicate a fault even if it is in good condition.
Check the flue terminal to the outside for any obstruction before replacing the part.
Fault codes for Beretta that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| A03 | Air pressure switch alarm (Model C.S.I.). | The air pressure switch does not close/open its contact due to lack of vacuum or internal fault, blocking the ignition cycle. Check with a U-tube manometer and micro continuity while the fan generates vacuum; inspect silicone tubes and connection in the air box. |
| A04 | Water pressure switch alarm. | The water pressure switch remains open due to insufficient pressure or a fault, preventing the start-up. Check the circuit pressure (≥1 bar approx.), bleed and check the continuity of the pressure switch; if necessary, test a temporary bridge for diagnostic purposes according to the manual. |
| E35 | Differential water pressure switch error (open contact). | The water differential pressure switch does not detect sufficient flow/differential pressure or is stuck open, causing the PCB to indicate a fault. Check the differential pressure and continuity of the pressure switch during circulation; inspect filters, pump, and possible blockages. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
