  Cause: The pressure switch does not detect the correct pressure in the circuit or gives an incorrect reading, and the control board prevents ignition to protect the boiler.

  Check the manometer: if it reads below 1 bar, fill the circuit with the filling key and test again before replacing the pressure switch.

  The boiler gradually loses pressure, or the pressure warning fluctuates on its own, even though the circuit is bled.

  Cause: A pressure switch that does not close the contact properly can give erratic readings that the control board interprets as a real pressure drop.

  First, rule out a leak in the expansion vessel or the safety valve; if the pressure gauge remains stable and the warning persists, suspect the pressure switch.

  The reset works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't, without a clear pattern.

  Cause: The internal contact may get stuck or make a poor connection due to wear, causing intermittent faults that do not correspond to the actual pressure of the circuit.

  Note if the fault always coincides with the same pressure level on the manometer; if it triggers at a correct pressure, point to the pressure switch.

  The boiler works well when cold but locks up when heating.

  Cause: When heating, the water pressure increases due to expansion; if the pressure switch differential is misadjusted, it may trigger outside its normal operating range.

  Check with the manometer how much the pressure rises when heating: if it frequently exceeds 3 bar, first check the expansion vessel, not the pressure switch.
