C.E.M.E. Water Pressure Switch Renova Hermann Micra 23 SE - Ref. HE049003163
Water pressure switch manufactured by C.E.M.E. (label information), which shuts off the burner if the circuit pressure does not reach the correct range. Set between 0.7 and 1.8 bar, it consumes 12VA and supports contacts of 13A and 9A at 250V~, up to 120°C. It is replaced when the boiler locks due to pressure failure or does not ignite.

How to check if ref. HE049003163 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference HE049003163. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the pressure switch HE049003163 resolves.
The pressure switch controls the air or water pressure to authorize operation. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The burner does not ignite even though the pressure on the manometer seems correct.
Cause: The pressure switch does not close the contact because it is worn out and does not detect the correct pressure, even though it may look normal visually.
Measure the pressure with the manometer; it should be between 0.7 and 1.8 bar. If it is within that range and the burner still does not ignite, the problem may be with the pressure switch.
- 02
The boiler repeatedly locks out due to water pressure, even after refilling it.
Cause: The internal contact of the pressure switch can degrade over time and fail to close properly, causing lockouts.
Fill the boiler to a normal pressure, wait a few minutes, and check if the lockout occurs again; if it does, it is not a real pressure problem.
- 03
The ignition is intermittent: sometimes it starts and other times it locks out at the same pressure.
Cause: The pressure switch may lose accuracy if it operates continuously near its temperature limit of 120°C.
Check if the fault occurs more often when the boiler is hot than when it is cold; if so, the pressure switch could be fatigued by the temperature.
- 04
The boiler shows a pressure lock without visible leaks in the installation.
Cause: The pressure switch may be permanently open due to a mechanical fault, even if the pressure is correct.
Check for leaks in radiators, bleed valves, and safety group; if there is no pressure loss, the pressure switch is the main suspect.
Fault codes for Renova that this spare part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | Insufficient water pressure (intervention of the water shortage pressure switch). | The water pressure switch opens due to low pressure or is faulty, causing the PCB to interpret a lack of water. Check the actual pressure with a manometer and the continuity/closure of the pressure switch at its threshold (≈0.5–1.2 bar) and inspect the wiring. |
| F.22 | Installation pressure too low (shutdown due to lack of water). | A faulty or disconnected water pressure sensor/pressure switch can report low pressure and cause a lockout. Check the actual pressure and the sensor's signal/voltage and its wiring harness, comparing with a manometer. |
| F.73 | Error: water pressure sensor not connected or short-circuited (signal too low). | The water sensor/pressure switch does not deliver a valid signal or is shorted, so the electronics do not "see" pressure. Check power supply (≈5 V), wiring continuity, and the sensor's output signal to the PCB. |
| F.74 | Error: electrical problem with the water pressure sensor (signal out of range/high). | Shorts at 5/24 V or internal fault of the sensor/pressure switch cause invalid reading. Check with a multimeter for possible short circuits/voltage in sensor lines and replace if necessary. |
| F.75 | Fault: pressure sensor (defective pressure capsule). | The manometric capsule of the sensor/pressure switch is damaged and delivers an incorrect signal. Compare the sensor reading with the actual pressure, and if it does not vary with pressure changes, replace the component. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
