  It constantly drips from the bleed valve of the gas valve, even though the boiler has been off for hours.

  Cause: The valve seat has scale residue and no longer seals properly.

  Measure the cold fill pressure: if it is close to 3 bar, the system is operating at its limit. Bleed and replenish pressure before changing the gas valve.

• 02

  The boiler repeatedly loses pressure and the circuit needs to be refilled every few days.

  Cause: An internal leak in the seat is slowly allowing water to escape into the drain.

  Check if the discharge pipe or the area under the gas valve is wet or has limescale marks: if so, the leak is coming from there.

• 03

  The pressure rises quite a bit when heating, but the gas valve does not trigger or release water.

  Cause: The internal mechanism may be jammed due to scale buildup on the stem.

  With the boiler cold, operate the manual bleed lever to check that the mechanism moves freely.

• 04

  The valve is stuck and does not release pressure even when pulling the manual lever.

  Cause: The stem is stuck due to limescale and does not lift the shutter even though the circuit exceeds 3 bar.
