Watts Safety Valve Biasi Myto Condens 24

Stock · 5 units

The Watts Baxi Roca Myto Condens 24 safety valve is a crucial component in your boiler. Its function is to release water when the circuit pressure exceeds the limit, usually 3 bar, thus preventing damage to the system. If you notice that the valve is continuously dripping or not discharging when it should, it is a sign that it is failing. This valve is compatible with models such as Myto Condens Inox 24, Myto Condens Inox 35, Midas 24E, Midas Eco 24E, Midas Eco 28E, and Bianca 24E, among others. It should be replaced when it shows leaks or malfunction.

Guide

How to check if the part number BI1441101 is the one for your boiler.

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference BI1441101. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the safety valve BI1441101 resolves.

The safety valve releases pressure when the circuit exceeds its setting. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

Water is continuously leaking from the discharge hose.

Cause: The valve seat does not close properly and allows water to pass even when the circuit is under normal pressure.

Check if the expansion vessel has the correct air pressure when cold; a discharged vessel can cause the circuit pressure to rise and lead to dripping.

  • 02

The circuit is losing pressure gradually, day by day.

Cause: An internal leak in the valve allows water to escape in small amounts without any noticeable dripping.

Check for moisture or scale buildup under the gas valve or in the drain before declaring it faulty, and also rule out leaks at other points in the circuit.

  • 03

After operating the bleed lever, the valve continues to drip and does not close properly.

Cause: The manual firing can leave a particle on the seat that prevents complete closure.

Bleed two or three times in a row; if the seat only had loose scale, it can seal again.

  • 04

The circuit needs to be filled more frequently than usual.

Cause: If the valve does not close completely after each small excess of pressure, it gradually empties the circuit.

Note how long it takes for the pressure to drop after refilling; if it’s days instead of weeks, it’s more likely to be the gas valve and not a leak in a radiator.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
