Guide

How to check if the ref. 10026857 is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 10026857. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the hydraulic group 10026857 resolves.

The hydraulic group includes the valve, the by-pass, and the water connections. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The boiler heats the radiators well, but when a tap is opened, the water comes out cold or lukewarm.

Cause: The diverter does not switch to domestic hot water and the water does not pass through the secondary heat exchanger.

Check if the actuator moves (you hear a click or a brief buzz) when you open the tap; if nothing moves, the fault may be in the motor or the microswitch.

  • 02

There is domestic hot water, but the radiators are not heating even though the boiler is on.

Cause: The diverter has become stuck in the DHW position and does not allow water to flow to the heating circuit.

Check that the valves in the heating circuit are open and that the demand reaches the control board before considering the diverter to be stuck.

  • 03

Water is leaking from underneath the hydraulic group, in the area where the diverter motor is mounted.

Cause: The seals of the diverter body lose tightness over time and the pressure of the circuit.

Dry the area well and check again after a while of operation to locate the exact point of the leak before replacing the entire assembly.

  • 04

A motor can be heard running or insisting, but the boiler does not change mode.

Cause: The micro switch does not confirm the position to the motor, and the control unit interprets that the diverter has not reached its position.

Note whether the noise is constant or intermittent and when it occurs (when requesting domestic hot water or when requesting heating) before ordering the spare part.

  • 05

The boiler shows a fault and locks out shortly after opening a hot water tap.

Cause: The control board does not receive the change signal from the diverter within the expected time and shuts off for safety.

Check the display or control for the exact fault code given by the boiler, as it usually confirms if the warning points to the diverter.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
