Hydraulic Connector Junkers Cerastar ZWN24-7MFA23 Ref. 87186413180
Junkers Cerastar includes the hydraulic connector Ref. 87186413180, which is responsible for conducting and distributing water between the circuits of the boiler. If this part fails, you may notice leaks, loss of pressure, or issues with the production of domestic hot water. It is compatible with models such as Cerastar ZWN24-7MFA23, among other versions in the range. It is recommended to replace the hydraulic connector when any of these symptoms are present.

How to check if it is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the hydraulic group resolves
The hydraulic group includes the valve, the by-pass, and the water connections. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
There is a drip or water stain right in the area of the hydraulic group, although the rest of the boiler seems sealed.
Cause: This connector joins the internal circuits of the hydraulic group and seals with gaskets; if the plastic is cracked or the gasket is dry, it starts leaking water from there.
Dry the area thoroughly, turn on the boiler, and use a flashlight to locate the exact point of the leak before assuming it's the connector and not a nearby fitting.
- 02
The boiler gradually loses pressure and needs to be refilled every few weeks without any visible water leakage.
Cause: A small leak in this connector, or its seal, can evaporate before leaving a visible stain and still empty the circuit over time.
Place kitchen paper around the connector after a heating cycle; if there is any moisture, even minimal, that's where the leak is.
- 03
Corrosion, lime, or whitish residues have appeared around that area of the hydraulic group.
Cause: The connectors in this area are constantly exposed to water from the installation, and lime or corrosion can eventually deform the plastic or the sealing.
Clean the area and check again after a couple of days of use to confirm that the limescale trace reappears before replacing the part.
- 04
It seems that the heating circuit and the domestic hot water circuit are mixing: lukewarm water comes out strangely or the temperature changes for no reason.
Cause: This connector physically separates the water pathways within the hydraulic group; if it cracks internally, it can allow circuits that should remain isolated to communicate.
First, check the three-way valve and its motor, because that symptom is also typical of that part and it's cheaper to rule out before touching the connector.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
