Bertelli & Partners Immergas Eolo Maior PCB Ref. MLC09

Stock · 1 unit

The Bertelli & Partners Immergas Eolo Maior PCB is the component that controls the ignition, burner modulation, pump, and safety features of the boiler. When it malfunctions, the boiler may fail to start, lock out, or operate erratically, potentially displaying the fault code E04. This PCB is compatible with the models Eolo 21 Maior, Eolo 21 Maior S, Eolo 24 Maior, Eolo 24 Maior S, Eolo 27 Maior, as well as some models from the Zeus Maior and Extra ranges. It is recommended to replace the PCB when these symptoms of malfunction occur.

Guide

How to check if ref. 024985 is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 024985. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the PCB 024985 resolves.

The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The boiler shows no signs of life, neither indicators nor display.

Cause: The fuse on the PCB has blown and cuts off power to the entire control circuit.

Check the fuse F 315A/250V with the multimeter for continuity, or look at it in the light to see if the wire is broken, before replacing the entire PCB.

  • 02

The fuse blows again immediately after replacing it.

Cause: There is a short circuit in some component of the PCB that continues to cause excessive consumption.

If the new fuse blows immediately, do not insist on changing it multiple times: it is a sign that the fault is in the PCB.

  • 03

The boiler ignites, makes some strange noise in the area of the PCB, and shuts down after a few seconds.

Cause: The control board detects an internal anomaly and cuts off the ignition for safety.

Note if the cut always coincides with the same point in the ignition cycle; it helps to distinguish a fault in the PCB from one in the burner or the gas valve.

  • 04

The indicators are flashing in a sequence that does not appear in the user manual.

Cause: The PCB is displaying a fault code specific to its control electronics, not always documented for the end user.

Take a photo of the blinking sequence and consult it with a technician or the service manual before deciding to change the PCB.

  • 05

The boiler responds slowly to commands or takes a long time to start the burner.

Cause: A fault in the control circuit of the PCB slows down the processing of the ignition signals.

Check that the gas and the pressure of the installation are correct before attributing the delay to the PCB, as a supply issue can also cause it.

CodeFaultDiagnosis and solution
E04Generic anomaly of the boiler PCB.Internal fault of the ignition/modulation board or detection by the PCB of an anomaly in the power supply to the gas valve; check voltages/continuity from the board to the valve and, if peripherals are correct, replace the board.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
