  A different fault code appears every few days, without a clear pattern.

  Cause: An intermittent fault in the control electronics can cause erratic readings from various sensors.

  Note all the codes that appear with date and time: if they are always different and do not match a specific component, it points more to the PCB than to a sensor.

  The boiler is not heating the water or the heating, although everything else seems to be working.

  Cause: The PCB commands the gas valve and the pump to operate; if it does not issue the command, nothing is activated.

  Check if at least the fan turns on or if you hear an attempt to start: if there is no movement, the command is not coming from the PCB.

  The clock or the boiler settings are occasionally erased on their own.

  Cause: The battery or the memory circuit of the PCB that stores the settings is losing data retention.
