The pressure gauge remains fixed, regardless of what happens in the circuit.
Cause: The clock mechanism gets stuck over time and does not reflect the actual pressure.
Bleed a radiator or add water to the circuit and observe if the needle reacts before considering that the part is damaged.

The temperature gauge shows a value that does not match the display of the boiler.
Cause: The bellows or the capillary that measures the temperature loses accuracy with use.
Compare the reading with the thermostat or the boiler panel to ensure that the fault does not come from the sensor.

The display is scratched, fogged, or broken, preventing the reading of pressure and temperature.
Cause: The plastic of the sphere is vulnerable to impacts and the heat from the boiler.
Shine a flashlight to see if the needle responds well behind the scratching; if it's just the glass, assess whether it's worth replacing the entire part.
- 04
It is suspected that the circuit is gradually losing pressure and a new instrument is wanted to confirm this.
Cause: With the needle blocked or misaligned, you cannot rely on whether the pressure drop is real or if it is a problem with the part.
Leave the boiler off for a few hours and note if the indicated pressure changes: if there are no variations, the problem may be with the manometer and not a leak.
