WIKA pressure gauge Vaillant VCW 15/3 T3W

Stock · 5 units

When you open the tap or turn on the heating, the WIKA pressure gauge Vaillant VCW 15/3 T3W is responsible for measuring and controlling the pressure or temperature of your boiler's circuit. If this part fails, you will notice incorrect readings, which can lead to the boiler locking due to a false lack of pressure or problems in temperature regulation. This pressure gauge is compatible with several boilers from the VC and VCW range, such as models 15/1 T3W, 20/1 T3W, and 25/1 T3W, among others. It is recommended to replace it if it shows faults in its readings.

Guide

How to check if the part number 101008 is the one for your boiler.

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 101008. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the manometer 101008 solves.

The manometer shows the pressure of the boiler circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The manometer reads zero even though the boiler is on and functioning normally.

Cause: The mechanism that translates the water pressure has become blocked or has lost its tightness.

Open the bleed valve of a radiator and check that water comes out under pressure; if there is water and the manometer still reads zero, the part is the one that is faulty.

  • 02

When filling the circuit with the filling key, the needle does not rise.

Cause: The manometer does not detect the increase in pressure that is indeed entering the circuit.

Fill gradually until you feel resistance; if the needle still does not move, it is not a bleeding issue.

  • 03

There is a drip or a water ring at the base of the pressure gauge, where it screws into the circuit.

Cause: The gasket or the connection thread has lost its seal and is allowing water to leak outside.

Dry the area well and check a few minutes later, with the boiler running, if humidity reappears on the pressure gauge thread.

  • 04

The dial or the glass is broken and you cannot trust the reading.

Cause: A blow or internal pressure can crack the glass or the sphere.

If the needle moves while bleeding despite the broken glass, you can get an approximate orientation while waiting for the spare part, but do not adjust the pressure relying on that reading.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
