Cointra Europa M-20 L Boiler Thermometer
Thermometer installed on the Cointra Europa M-20 L boiler panel. The dial displays the text COINTRA and a scale from 0 to 120 °C; the actual manufacturer of the instrument and its reference are not identified. It indicates the temperature of the boiler circuit and is replaced when the indicator stops marking or the dial is damaged.

How to check if it is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the manometer resolves
The manometer shows the pressure of the boiler circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The temperature indicator does not move, whether the boiler is cold or at maximum temperature.
Cause: The capillary of the thermometer has lost the liquid that makes it react to heat, and the mechanism remains inert.
Check the capillary path for bends or signs of leakage before declaring the thermometer faulty.
- 02
The displayed temperature does not seem accurate compared to how the boiler feels to the touch.
Cause: The thermometer bulb is not properly fitted in the immersion sleeve and is giving incorrect readings.
Check that the bulb is fully inserted in its housing and has not moved.
- 03
The dial is scratched, fogged, or broken, and the needle is not visible.
Cause: The deterioration of the glass or the sphere is a physical damage, regardless of whether the internal mechanism continues to function.
Before changing it, check if the needle moves when heating the boiler, even if it's hard to read due to the condition of the glass.
- 04
The thermometer has been giving readings that don't match for a while, even though it still shows something.
Cause: A capillary mechanism can gradually lose precision before completely ceasing to function.
Compare the reading of the thermometer with a contact thermometer in the same pipe to confirm if it has deviated.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
