If you notice incorrect pressure or temperature readings on your boiler, you may need a Hermann Micra 2 pressure gauge. This part measures and controls the pressure of the circuit, ensuring proper operation. When it fails, the boiler may lock out due to a false lack of pressure or may not regulate the temperature correctly. This pressure gauge is compatible with several models, including Micra 2 23 E-R, Micra 2 24 SE, and Micra 2 30 SE, among others. It is recommended to replace it when you start experiencing these measurement issues.

Guide

How to check if ref. H047006226 is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference H047006226. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the manometer H047006226 solves.

The manometer shows the pressure of the boiler circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The pressure gauge stays at zero and does not respond even when you fill the circuit.

Cause: The measurement mechanism is faulty and does not register the pressure even though the water enters normally.

Check with the filling key that water is indeed entering (you can notice the flow) before assuming the pressure gauge is broken.

  • 02

The needle is fixed at a value and does not change even when you use the filling key.

Cause: The gear that moves the needle has seized up and does not reflect the actual pressure changes.

Bleed a nearby radiator while monitoring the pressure gauge; if the pressure should drop and the needle does not move, it is the part.

  • 03

Water is leaking at the fitting where the pressure gauge connects to the boiler.

Cause: The sealing gasket of the connection has degraded due to the pressure and temperature of the circuit.

Dry the area, tighten the fitting carefully, and observe for a few minutes; if it starts leaking again, the leak is from the pressure gauge.

  • 04

The dial is not clear, it's fogged up or dirty, and it's difficult to read the pressure.

Cause: Moisture has gotten inside the glass or the sphere has become dirty over time, without the mechanism being broken.

Clean the glass on the outside and check if the needle moves normally when bleeding; if the problem is only visual, assess it before replacing the part.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
