Grundfos Circulating Pump Cointra Ferroli Domitop F24E Ref. 39808300
Grundfos UPS 15-50 AO/FL circulating pump, originally installed in Cointra-Ferroli boilers from the Domina and Domitop ranges (C24E/F24E) and Ferella (C24/F24 MEL). It circulates the water in the heating circuit with three selectable speeds. Operates at 230V~/50Hz up to 3 bar. It is replaced when it becomes seized, makes noise, or the boiler loses circulation.

How to check if ref. 39808300 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 39808300. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the circulation pump 39808300 resolves.
The circulation pump circulates the water in the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The heating is not heating or heats very little, although the burner ignites normally.
Cause: The pump rotor is not moving the water in the circuit, and the heat remains in the boiler without reaching the radiators.
Touch the supply and return pipes of a radiator near the boiler: if one is hot and the other is cold, the pump is not circulating water.
- 02
The pump makes noise or vibrates when the heating starts.
Cause: It is usually due to air trapped in the circuit or a worn bearing inside the pump.
Bleed the heating circuit through the highest radiator in the house before considering that the pump is faulty.
- 03
The pump does not turn or struggles to start after a long period without using the heating.
Cause: Sediments and limescale deposit on the rotor when the pump has been idle for months, such as at the end of summer.
With the boiler turned off and cold, try to unlock the shaft with a flat screwdriver through the central screw of the motor, if it has one.
- 04
The boiler stops or locks shortly after requesting heating, even though the burner has ignited.
Cause: The control unit detects that there is no water circulation and shuts down for overtemperature safety.
Check if you notice vibration or heat in the body of the pump when the heating is on; if it is cold and still, it could be the pump.
Fault codes for Cointra that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| A03 | Overtemperature protection activated. | If the circulating pump is blocked or faulty, there is no circulation in the circuit and the flow overheats, triggering the limiter/sensor; check that the pump receives 230 V, that it rotates (unblocking via front cap), and that there is actual flow/bleeding. |
| F43 | Heat exchanger protection activated due to lack of circulation. | The defective or stuck circulating pump prevents flow and the heat exchanger goes into protection mode; check voltage at terminals, rotor rotation, and bleed/return to confirm absence of flow. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
