Stock · 5 units

Grundfos circulator pump, model UPS 15-60 CES87, for the heating circuit of Hermann Micra 2 boilers and compatible models. It circulates water between the boiler and the radiators. According to the label, it operates at 230V/50Hz, three speeds (50/75/110W), maximum pressure of 3 bar, and IP42 protection. The identification comes from another photo of the same part. It is replaced when it does not start, makes noise, or does not circulate water.

Guide

How to check if ref. 149100103 is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 149100103. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the circulator pump 149100103 resolves.

The circulation pump circulates the water in the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The pump does not start or rotate at any of the three speeds.

Cause: The rotor may be stuck due to limescale or sediment, which is common if the pump has not been operating for months.

With the boiler disconnected, try manually turning the shaft screw (if accessible) to see if the rotor moves freely before replacing the pump.

  • 02

There is noise or vibration in the pump when starting.

Cause: It may be due to air in the circuit or a worn bearing that makes the motor work harder.

Bleed the air from the radiators and the circuit itself before concluding that it is the pump; the noise caused by air usually disappears after bleeding.

  • 03

The burner ignites normally, but the radiators remain cold.

Cause: Without water circulation, the heat remains in the heat exchanger and does not reach the system.

Touch the body of the pump with the boiler on: if you don't feel any heat or vibration, the pump is not working.

  • 04

The pump works but it doesn't heat the entire house like it used to.

Cause: With a worn or partially obstructed impeller, the circulator spins but does not move the necessary volume of water.

Check if the problem improves by selecting the highest speed of the three available; if it still doesn't improve, the impeller may be damaged.

Fault codes Hermann that this part solves

CodeFaultDiagnosis and solution
F.23Safety shutdown: temperature variation too large (NTC1/NTC2).A blocked or reduced power circulating pump prevents flow, and the flow temperature rises significantly compared to the return. Check the pump's voltage and consumption, unblock the rotor, and check the flow/return ΔT after bleeding.
F.24Safety shutdown: temperature increase too rapid. If the pump is seized or weakened, the flow rate drops and the primary overheats very quickly. Check the power supply and rotation of the pump, actual flow rate, and perform a complete bleed of the circuit.
F.89Error: pump. The electronics detect the pump as not/poorly connected or short-circuited. Check the pump connector and wiring, motor continuity/insulation, and ensure it receives 230 V when the PCB commands operation.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
