How to check if the reference AS0008267 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference AS0008267. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the circulator pump AS0008267 resolves.
The circulation pump circulates the water in the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The water takes a long time to heat up or the radiators do not reach temperature.
Cause: The four-speed circulator is not allowing enough water to flow through the circuit, which is why the heat is not being distributed.
Change the selector to a higher speed and see if the pump body starts to vibrate; if it does not respond in any position, the problem lies with the motor or the capacitor.
- 02
A buzzing sound is heard when starting, but the pump does not rotate.
Cause: It is typical of a weakened start capacitor: the motor tries to start but does not have the necessary thrust.
Note whether the buzzing lasts a few seconds and then stops (blocked rotor) or continues indefinitely (more typical of a capacitor); this helps to identify the fault before purchasing.
- 03
The pump does not start in any of the four speed selector positions.
Cause: When the winding fails or the shaft is seized, no speed moves the rotor.
Test the four positions one by one with the boiler cold; if it starts in any of them, even with difficulty, the fault may be only in that selector path and not in the entire pump.
- 04
Water is accumulating under the pump or in the body of the boiler.
Cause: The shaft seal wears out over the years of use and starts to let water pass through gradually.
First, check that the leak is not coming from a joint or a nearby bleed valve before declaring the pump as lost.
Fault codes for Fagor that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| E7 | Recirculation pump fault/malfunction. | The AS0008267 circulating pump may be seized, faulty, or without power, causing a lack of circulation; check by bleeding, turning the shaft, and verifying voltage and current at terminals to confirm. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
