The radiators are not heating properly, although the domestic hot water is working correctly.
Cause: If the impeller does not rotate properly, the heating circuit does not receive enough flow, even though the burner is functioning well.
Check that the pump speed selector is not in the minimum position before considering it faulty.

The pump makes noise, with vibrations or humming, especially when turning on the heating.
Cause: Trapped air or the accumulation of scale in the impeller disrupt its rotation and cause noise.
Bleed the heating circuit using the highest bleed valve in the installation before changing the pump.

After leaving the boiler off for a while, like in summer, the pump does not start again.
Cause: The shaft can seize due to sediment if it does not rotate for a long time.
Locate the central bleed screw of the rotor and turn it by hand with a screwdriver to try to unlock the shaft.

There is water leaking at the base or the shaft of the pump, with limescale stains around it.
Cause: The mechanical seal wears out with use and allows water to pass through the shaft.
Dry the area well and check again after a while of operation to confirm that the leak is coming from the shaft.
