The burner ignites and operates normally, but the heating does not warm up.
Cause: If this pump does not circulate water, the heat generated will not reach the radiators even if the combustion is correct.
Touch the pump body with the boiler running: if you don't feel any vibration or heat, it's not spinning.

The pump vibrates or makes a noise different from the normal operating hum.
Cause: With three selectable speeds, an imbalance in the impeller due to air or lime is more noticeable as vibration at higher speeds.
Bleed the air from the circuit and test the three positions of the selector before considering the pump as faulty.

Water is leaking from the pump body, near where it connects to the motor.
Cause: The shaft seal wears out over the years and starts to let water through gradually.
Dry the area and check after a heating cycle if the moisture reappears right there.

The pump is completely blocked, it doesn't turn even though it receives power.
Cause: The shaft seizes if the pump has been idle for a long time, something common after the summer.
Locate the bleed screw in the center of the motor and turn it with a flathead screwdriver to try to free the shaft.
