  Cause: The transformer should provide the high voltage necessary for the spark to jump at the electrode. If there is not enough voltage, the spark that ignites the gas will not occur.

  First, check that the high voltage cable is properly connected to both the transformer and the electrode, and that there are no visible breaks.

  There is no spark at the ignition electrode.

  Cause: This directly indicates that the transformer is not generating the necessary voltage to create the arc.

  Make sure that the electrode is properly aligned and that the tip is not worn or broken before changing the transformer.

  The boiler locks out due to an ignition fault on the first or second start attempt.

  Cause: If there is no arc in the electrode, the control board does not detect the flame within the safety time and locks the boiler.

  Also check that gas is reaching the burner (there should be a brief smell when trying to start) to rule out that the blockage is due to another cause.

• 04

  The fault always occurs when starting up, never when the boiler is already running.

  Cause: The transformer only operates when the boiler is turned on; if it fails at that moment, the problem is always in the ignition phase.

  If the boiler is working well and maintains the flame once ignited, the fault is almost certainly in the ignition phase, not in the burner that is already lit.
