  Cause: The transformer does not deliver the necessary current to power the PCB, and without it, the boiler does not start.

  Measure with a multimeter if there is current at the terminals of the primary of the transformer before considering it faulty.

  The boiler turns off by itself intermittently, especially after it has been running for a while and has heated up.

  Cause: A transformer with damaged winding loses current when it heats up, and the PCB loses stable power supply.

  Leave the boiler on for a while and measure the output current of the secondary when it starts to fail, to see if it decreases.

  A fuse blows every so often, or the boiler stops and restarts by itself after a few minutes.

  Cause: An internal short circuit in the transformer, or an overload downstream, activates the thermal protection of the transformer.

  Before changing the transformer, check for any component that may be short-circuited (fan, gas valve) that is increasing the consumption.

  The remote control or the display indicates that there is no communication with the boiler, even though the main switch is turned on.

  Cause: Without the transformer power, the PCB does not start and cannot communicate with the control.

  First, check that the main switch and the network fuse of the boiler are in good condition before considering the transformer as faulty.
