  Cause: The valve does not fully switch to the domestic hot water circuit and the water continues to circulate through the heating system.

  Check that the gas valve motor turns and fits properly when opening a hot water tap; if it doesn't move, first check the 2-pin connector.

  The radiators go cold just when a hot water tap is opened.

  Cause: The valve gets stuck in the hot water position and does not return to heating when the tap is closed.

  If the stem is accessible, move the valve by hand to rule out that it is stuck due to scale before replacing it.

  A clicking or snapping sound is heard in the area of the valve every time you request domestic hot water.

  Cause: The internal mechanism changes abruptly when the spring or the motor no longer dampens the movement properly.

  Locate the exact source of the noise with the boiler running; if it comes from the pump or a nearby bleed valve, it is not the gas valve.
