3-Way Valve Motor Saunier Duval Themaclassic F 25 E
The motor of the 3-way valve Saunier Duval Themaclassic F 25 E allows the switching of water between the heating circuit and the domestic hot water circuit. If this part fails, you will notice that there is hot water available but no heating, or vice versa, or even that both circuits are mixing. This motor is compatible with several boilers from the ThemaClassic range, as well as with some models from the Themafast, Isofast, Isomax, and Isotwin ranges, among others. It is recommended to replace the motor when you experience these symptoms to restore the proper functioning of your heating system.

How to check if ref. S5720600 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference S5720600. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the S5720600 three-way valve resolves.
The 3-way valve diverts water between heating and domestic hot water. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
Hot water comes out of the tap but the radiators do not heat up, or vice versa: the house heats up but hot water does not come out.
Cause: The motor does not move the valve to the correct position, causing the water to circulate only through one circuit.
Check the display to see if the boiler is in domestic hot water or heating mode and touch the body of the gas valve to see if it responds to the change in demand.
- 02
It heats a little of everything at once, some domestic hot water and some heating, without properly reaching either.
Cause: The valve gets stuck halfway between the two positions because the motor does not complete the rotation.
Listen to see if the motor completes the full stroke with a buzzing sound for a few seconds each time you change the demand, or if it stops halfway through the stroke.
- 03
A buzzing or rattling noise is heard in the area of the gas valve every time you request hot water or heating.
Cause: The motor forces the rotation because the internal mechanism is jammed or the gear is slipping without moving the shaft.
Check that the valve shaft is not blocked by scale or dirt before assuming that the motor is the culprit.
- 04
The boiler remains fixed, always giving the same output, and it does not change even if you close the tap or raise the thermostat.
Cause: The motor does not receive or execute the change command, so the valve remains in the last position reached.
Check with the remote control or the control panel that the mode change command reaches the motor connector before changing it.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
