3-Way Valve Motor Boiler Fagor FE24E1N - Ref. 381033000
The three-way valve motor of the Fagor FE24E1N boiler is responsible for alternating the flow of water between the heating circuit and the domestic hot water circuit. When it fails, the user may notice that they have hot water but no heating, or vice versa, and there may even be a mixing of both circuits. This motor is compatible with the Fagor CE24E1N, FE24E1N, FE24NOX, and FEB24AR boilers, among others. It is recommended to replace it when these symptoms occur to restore the proper functioning of the boiler.

How to check if it is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the 3-way valve resolves
The 3-way valve diverts water between heating and domestic hot water. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler stays in one mode, always heating or always domestic hot water, and does not change.
Cause: The valve motor does not complete the turn to the opposite circuit and the water continues on the same path as always.
Request hot water with the heating off and vice versa, and check if you notice any movement or click in the motor area.
- 02
The motor does not start when requesting a mode change; it remains still.
Cause: If the motor does not receive power or the winding is damaged, it does not generate the necessary torque to move the stem.
Check that the motor's electrical connector is properly fitted before considering it faulty.
- 03
There is a rattling or banging noise in the gas valve just when the boiler should switch over.
Cause: The motor pushes the mechanism, but it resists due to wear or internal dirt, and the rattling is that struggle.
Check if the noise always coincides with the start of domestic hot water or with the switch to heating; if so, point to the gas valve.
- 04
The motor spins but stops halfway, without completing the circuit change.
Cause: A motor with partially damaged gears can start to turn but does not have the strength to complete the rotation.
Check if the motor makes several consecutive attempts to turn without succeeding; that pattern is typical of a motor that is nearing the end of its life.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
