  You request heating and the boiler turns on, but the radiators take a long time to heat up or do not heat at all.

  Cause: The valve motor has not completed the turn towards the heating circuit.

  Check that the radiators are not airlocked (bleed) before ruling out the gas valve: the symptom is similar.

  The domestic hot water from the tap comes out cold or lukewarm even though the boiler is on and without other faults.

  Cause: The valve is stuck in the heating position and does not switch to domestic hot water when the tap is opened.

  Turn off the heating completely and test only the tap: if it still doesn't heat, the problem is in the circuit switch.

  You hear a motor straining or a metallic clicking sound every time it switches service.

  Cause: It is typical of worn internal gearing to slip before engaging in the correct position.

  Check if the noise always coincides with the circuit change and not with the activation of the extractor or the pump.

  The valve gets stuck halfway, and the boiler can't decide whether to provide heating or domestic hot water.

  Cause: The shaft may be seized due to lime deposits, preventing the motor from completing its cycle.

  With the installation cold, try to manually move the motor shaft (disconnected from power) and see if there is a point of blockage.

  A drip or moisture stain appears in the lower area of the valve, unrelated to other leaks from the boiler.

  Cause: The seals of the valve body give way with use and temperature, even if the motor works well.

  Mark the dry area, run the boiler for a while, and check if the moisture reappears right there.
