Wiesberg 3-Way Valve Motor RSSE 24 (also RSN, RSNE, RSS 24 and Unical DUA)
If you notice that you have hot water but no heating, or vice versa, you may need the motor of the 3-way valve Wiesberg RSSE 24. This part allows the switching of water between the heating circuit and the domestic hot water circuit. If it fails, it can cause both circuits to mix, affecting the performance of your boiler. Symptoms and faults that the 3-way valve resolves
The 3-way valve diverts water between heating and domestic hot water. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults

The boiler provides hot water, but the radiators do not heat up, or they only do so intermittently.
Cause: The valve motor does not stabilize the flow to heating consistently.
Check if the problem persists with the thermostat continuously calling for heat, not just during occasional starts.

There is a lack of domestic hot water while the heating is working without any issues.
Cause: The motor does not switch to domestic hot water, often because it does not start or stops before completing the rotation.
Open the hot water tap and listen if the gas valve motor tries to move; if there is no sound, it is not responding.

There is a rattling or vibration in the gas valve just when switching from one service to another.
Cause: It is usually due to the motor turning against a worn gear before fitting into its final position.
Check if the noise occurs with every service change or if it has only happened once; if it is systematic, it points to the motor.

The motor does not move at any time, neither when requesting heating nor when requesting domestic hot water.
Cause: It is possible that the motor winding is burnt or that it is not receiving power from the PCB.
Before changing the gas valve, measure if the motor receives voltage at its terminals when the boiler requests the change.
