How to check if ref. S5720600 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference S5720600. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the S5720600 three-way valve resolves.
The 3-way valve diverts water between heating and domestic hot water. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler heats the heating system normally, but when the tap is opened, hot water does not come out, or vice versa.
Cause: The valve motor does not manage to divert the water flow towards the domestic hot water circuit, and it runs out of flow.
Check if the fault occurs only when combining domestic hot water and heating at the same time, or also when requesting each circuit separately.
- 02
The valve gets stuck in one position and does not respond to mode changes.
Cause: The motor loses power or the mechanism gets stuck, and the stem remains fixed even though the control unit sends the command to change.
With the boiler turned off and unplugged, try gently moving the motor shaft to rule out that it is simply stuck due to dirt.
- 03
A buzzing sound, a grinding noise, or an attempt to turn that does not complete.
Cause: The motor forces the rotation against an internal resistance, and that effort generates the noise before stopping.
Note how long the noise lasts; if it continues for several seconds without the gas valve finishing its movement, it is a clear symptom of a seized motor.
- 04
The boiler takes too long to provide hot water, as if it first needs to "think about it."
Cause: A motor that moves with difficulty delays the circuit switch, and that delay is noticeable as a lag in the domestic hot water output.
Time how long it takes for hot water to come out after you turn on the tap; if the delay has increased over time, point to the pump.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
