• 01

  The domestic hot water comes out lukewarm while the heating is on and functioning well.

  Cause: The valve does not completely close the flow to heating when it needs to provide domestic hot water, and the water mixes.

  Turn off the heating for a moment and check if the water really comes out hot before replacing the part.

• 02

  The burner ignites and sounds like the boiler is working, but the radiators do not heat up at all.

  Cause: The motor has not moved the valve to the heating side, so the hot water circulates only through domestic hot water.

  Check that the circulator is working and that there is no air in the circuit before blaming the valve.

• 03

  The valve seems to be stuck in the same position, no matter what happens.

  Cause: The motor shaft has become uncoupled from the valve body or the gear is broken.

  Check if the motor moves, even a little, when requesting the service change; if it doesn't move at all, the problem is electrical.

• 04

  The motor makes no noise or movement when it should switch service.

  Cause: The motor is not receiving power or its winding is broken, so it does not generate any attempt to rotate.

  Check that the motor connector is properly fitted and free of corrosion before declaring the part faulty.
