  Before replacing the motor, check if it reaches the end of its travel: almost all have a visible position mark or arrow on the body.

  A buzzing or forced motor noise is heard when the boiler tries to switch circuits.

  Cause: The motor is powered and tries to turn, but the internal stem of the valve is seized, usually due to lime or dirt.

  Disassemble the motor and manually check if the shaft rotates freely; if it's difficult to move, the issue might be with the valve body, not the motor.

  The switching between heating and domestic hot water takes longer than usual or gets stuck halfway.

  Cause: It is a typical symptom of wear in the internal reduction gear of the motor, which loses strength over years of use.

  Time how long it takes to switch; if the time has increased week after week, it points to mechanical wear of the motor.

  The boiler gives a warning or locks up just when it should switch between heating and domestic hot water.

  Cause: The motor's limit switch does not confirm the position to the control unit, which for safety reasons locks the equipment.

  Check the motor's electrical connector and ensure that the wires are not loose, frayed, or corroded before considering it faulty.
