Electrohydraulic Subassembly of 3-Way Valve Saunier Duval
The electro-hydraulic subset of the 3-way valve Saunier Duval is a component that directs the flow of water between the heating circuit and the domestic hot water circuit. If this part fails, you will notice that there is hot water but no heating, or vice versa, or that both circuits are mixing. This spare part is compatible with various models of Saunier Duval boilers, among others. It is recommended to replace it when you experience these operational issues in your heating system.

Consult via WhatsAppHow to check if it is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the 3-way valve resolves
The 3-way valve diverts water between heating and domestic hot water. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not switch correctly between heating and domestic hot water.
Cause: The valve subset is unable to change the position of the diverter between the circuits.
Check if the internal shaft turns freely by hand with the body disassembled; if it is stuck, check the scale in the circuit.
- 02
The electrical connector of the subassembly is damaged, loose, or shows signs of heat.
Cause: A rusty or poorly fitted connector prevents the motor from receiving the change command properly.
Visually inspect the connector and terminals, and try cleaning and properly tightening them before considering the part faulty.
- 03
The boiler stays in one mode and does not respond to the circuit change.
Cause: This symptom occurs when the internal mechanism of the gas valve is stuck or the motor does not have enough power to move it.
Check if the motor tries to start (buzzing, vibration) or does nothing at all; this will indicate whether the problem is mechanical or electrical.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
