How to check if ref. 10025754 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 10025754. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the 3-way valve 10025754 resolves.
The 3-way valve diverts water between heating and domestic hot water. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
Water is dripping or pooling under the boiler, near the area of the three-way valve.
Cause: The plastic body of the valve loses its seal due to a crack or wear of the internal seals.
Dry the area well, place paper underneath, and check with the boiler running if the drip is coming from the body of the valve and not from a nearby fitting or bleed valve.
- 02
The body of the valve appears cracked, deformed, or with whitish lime marks around it.
Cause: Plastic ages with heat and pressure and eventually cracks, especially if there have been repeated overpressures.
Visually inspect the entire body, including the area hidden under the engine, before confirming the leak.
- 03
Sometimes hot water comes out of the radiator and sometimes it doesn't, without having touched the thermostat.
Cause: If the body is deformed by an internal crack, the transition between heating and domestic hot water stops closing properly even if the motor rotates correctly.
First, check that the valve motor moves and completes its full travel; if the motor is functioning properly and the fault persists, the problem is in the body.
- 04
There is domestic hot water but the radiators are not heating, or vice versa.
Cause: A crack in the body can divert part of the flow to the wrong circuit even if the valve tries to switch correctly.
First, rule out that it is not an issue with air bleeding or the circulator pump, as they present the same symptom.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
