Cause: This pressure switch has two independent contacts, and one of them can fail without the other being aware, so only part of the system loses signal.
Measure with a multimeter if both contacts work separately when varying the pressure before declaring the part faulty.

The boiler suddenly cuts off the burner and the circulator even though the pressure gauge shows normal pressure.
Cause: If the switching differential is out of calibration, the pressure switch opens the contact before reaching the correct pressure.
Note the exact pressure at which it cuts off and compare it with the set range and the differential indicated on the label.

Repeated burner on and off cycles without anyone touching the thermostat
Cause: A degraded pressure differential causes the pressure switch to open and close the contact several times in a short period.
First, rule out a slow leak or a pressureless expansion vessel, as they can cause the same issue.

The boiler does not start at any time, neither the circulator nor the burner.
Cause: If the contact gets stuck in the open position, the control unit never receives the correct pressure signal and blocks the entire start-up.
Bleed the air from the pressure switch connection tubes before replacing it: an airlock simulates a low pressure reading.
