  The boiler turns on, the fan is running, but it shuts off and shows a fault before igniting the flame.

  Cause: The pressure switch does not close the electrical circuit because it does not detect the depression that should be generated by the flue gas extractor in these forced draft models.

  Make sure the fan doesn't make strange noises or have difficulty starting; a slow extractor prevents the pressure switch from closing even if it's in good condition.

  The fault mainly occurs on cold days or during the first ignition in the morning.

  Cause: With low temperatures, condensation can accumulate in the pressure intake pipe and affect the reading of the pressure switch.

  Check that the silicone tube does not have any condensate water inside before replacing the part.

  The boiler works well for a while and then locks itself, without a clear pattern.

  Cause: A pressure switch with a worn diaphragm or micro switch can switch unstably with use.

  Note if the lockout occurs always after a period of operation; if so, it is advisable to also check the cleanliness of the heat exchanger before replacing the pressure switch.

  Upon inspecting the boiler, the connection tube of the pressure switch is found to be loose or improperly fitted.

  Cause: Without a sealed connection to the pressure take-off, the pressure switch cannot read the actual signal from the fan.

  Check that the pipe is properly fitted at both ends and free of cracks before considering the part defective.
