How to check if ref. MU1267500 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference MU1267500. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the extractor MU1267500 resolves.
The extractor evacuates the combustion gases with forced draft. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The fan does not spin or has difficulty starting, and the boiler does not ignite.
Cause: This is usually due to a seized bearing or a damaged winding that prevents reaching the minimum revolutions.
Unplug the boiler and try to turn the turbine by hand; if it is stiff or blocked, it is an indication before purchasing the part.
- 02
There is noticeable vibration or a rubbing noise when the extractor is running.
Cause: Generally, it is the turbine unbalanced due to dirt or a worn bearing that rubs against the casing.
Check if the blades have soot or grease buildup; cleaning them may resolve the noise without needing to replace the extractor.
- 03
The boiler is locking out showing a fault with the air or flue pressure switch.
Cause: An extractor that does not provide sufficient flow prevents the pressure switch from closing the contact, and the control unit cuts off the gas for safety.
Check the silicone tubes between the pressure switch and the fan: if they are loose, cracked, or have water, it could be that and not the fan.
- 04
The flue gas outlet is noticeable or smells bad, with less draft than usual.
Cause: An extractor that operates below its normal speed does not properly expel combustion gases.
Also check the exhaust duct on the outside; a blockage there produces the same symptoms as a faulty fan.
Fault codes for Fagor that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| F2 | Air circulation fault on start-up: the air pressure switch does not confirm flow and the boiler locks out. | If the FIME GR00790 (MU1267500) extractor fan does not rotate or does not deliver flow, the depression is not generated and the air pressure switch does not close; check the power supply to the fan and that the pressure switch operates with the fan running. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
