Ignition and Ionization Electrodes for Alpha 23 MFFI Boiler Ref. 569560
The ignition and ionization electrodes for the Alpha 23 MFFI boiler are essential for the operation of the gas burner, as they are responsible for mixing air and gas and sustaining the flame that heats the heat exchanger. When they fail, you may notice difficult ignitions, an irregular flame, or strange noises. This model is compatible with other boilers in the Alpha range, as well as with models from the brands Challenger, DIA, Eurocombi, and Genus. It is recommended to replace them when they show signs of wear or dirt accumulation.

How to check if ref. 569560 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 569560. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the burner 569560 resolves
The burner performs the combustion of gas. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not ignite, and there is no sound or visible spark in the burner.
Cause: The ignition electrode does not generate a spark because it is dirty, worn out, or improperly positioned.
Make sure the electrode is clean, free of rust, and at the correct distance from the burner before replacing it.
- 02
The boiler turns on and off after a few seconds, as if it shuts off by itself.
Cause: The ionization electrode does not detect the flame, and the control unit cuts off the gas for safety.
Check the cable and ground connection of the ionization electrode; a poor ground connection gives the same signal as an absent flame.
- 03
The spark appears weak, intermittent, or jumps where it shouldn't.
Cause: The ignition electrode is worn out or has an eroded tip due to use.
Check the condition of the electrode tip and the gap between electrodes; an incorrect distance reduces the spark.
- 04
The boiler locks out with a flame or ignition fault code on the display.
Cause: The control unit does not receive the correct ignition or ionization signal and locks the equipment for safety.
Before replacing the entire set, check that the wiring is not burnt or loose at the connectors.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
