    Cause: The solenoid valve EV2 does not open correctly and limits the maximum gas flow.

    Measure if there is current in EV2 during the maximum power demand before changing the gas valve.

    The boiler locks up when starting, repeatedly.

    Cause: Intermittent fault in one of the solenoid valves of the gas valve.

    Note the fault code displayed by the boiler and if the lockout occurs always at the same point in the cycle.

    There is a smell of gas in the area of the gas valve.

    Cause: Leak in the body or in the joints of the gas valve

    Locate the leak point with a leak detector spray before deciding on the replacement.
