Honeywell VK4115M gas valve, with integrated V7335A modulating actuator, which regulates the flow and modulation of gas to the burner. Maximum input pressure 80 mbar, power supply 230/240V~ 50/60Hz, actuator range 15-20 mbar. It is used in Vaillant boilers from the Turbomax, Thermocompact, and VCM/VMW series. It is replaced when the boiler does not ignite or the flame does not modulate correctly.

Cause: The Honeywell gas valve does not open the gas flow to the burner.
Check that there is ignition spark and normal gas pressure before replacing the gas valve.

The flame does not increase in power even though the boiler requests it.
Cause: The V7335A modulating actuator does not regulate the gas flow properly.
Check that the actuator moves when requesting more power (a slight buzzing can be heard) before replacing it.

The power of the boiler fluctuates, rising and falling without reason.
Cause: The modulating actuator loses precision in flow regulation.
Check that there is no dirt in the gas inlet or in the filter before considering the gas valve faulty.

The boiler locks up just when trying to ignite.
Cause: Fault in the opening of the gas valve associated with the Honeywell assembly.
